What Property Owners Ask Us

What do you actually need from our property?
We need usable outdoor space — a parking lot section, a grass area, a courtyard, or any open flat surface. A space that can fit anywhere from 12 to 100 ten-by-ten tent footprints comfortably works perfectly. We also need basic access to the property from 7 AM for setup and until approximately 4 PM for breakdown. That's it. No utilities, no kitchen access, no staff from your side required.
Is there any cost to our property?
In most cases, absolutely not. We operate on vendor fees — vendors pay us for the space and equipment, and the location partner pays nothing. At high-traffic premium locations where we project strong vendor demand, we may discuss a small location fee. At some venue types, we structure a revenue share. We are completely transparent about this in our first conversation and there are no surprises.
What kind of vendors will be on our property?
We screen all vendors. Our markets feature cottage food producers, handmade crafts, jewelry, candles, soaps, plants, boutique clothing, direct sales representatives, and food vendors. We do not permit weapons dealers, adult content, or unlicensed food without permits. Every vendor signs our vendor agreement and is held to our standards. You can review the vendor list before any event and request category restrictions for your property type.
Who is responsible if something goes wrong on event day?
Pop Up Tent Events carries general liability insurance for our operations and equipment. We manage all vendor activity and customer flow. Individual vendors carry responsibility for their own products and transactions. We recommend property owners maintain their standard property insurance as they would for any approved activity on their grounds. We are happy to provide our certificate of insurance upon request before any event.
How quickly can you set up a first event?
From first conversation to first event, most location partners are up and running within two to three weeks. Vendor recruitment typically takes seven to ten days once a date and location are confirmed. Marketing begins immediately upon confirmation. We have done first events in as little as ten days when the timing was right.
Can we cancel or change the schedule after we start?
Yes. We work on flexible, non-binding agreements with location partners. We ask for reasonable advance notice — typically two weeks — so we can notify vendors and shoppers of any cancellation or date change. Our goal is a long-term recurring partnership, so we work to accommodate your property's needs and schedule throughout our relationship.
